- Reading and literacy thrive and expand. Torrington children read over 6,000 books during the summer reading program, in partnership with the Mayor and the Superintendent of Schools.
- Community partnerships accomplish more. We accomplished more through partnerships with local organizations including the Arts/Culture Commission, Community Family Literacy Center, Litchfield County Writers Project, LARC, Valerie Manor, Early Head Start, and more!
- Events for all ages bring people together. Over 7,000 adults, young adults and children attended a diverse selection of programs including >From Hula-Hoops to High Fashion: G. Fox in the 1950s for adults, The Teddy Bear Sleepover for kids, and Salem Witch Trials: An Interactive Mystery Event.
- Changing with the times. We are always adding new titles, resources and information to our library collection. We are also always featuring new programs, events, fundraising initiatives and more. This is your spot to keep up-to-date with your library and all that we have to offer. {What's New}
